Lecigran & Lecisun
About Lecithin
Lecithin is a rich source of linoleic acid. 10g of linoleic acid when taken daily as part of a varied diet plays a vital role in helping maintain normal cholesterol levels. Lecithin occurs naturally in all human, animal and vegetable cells.
In humans, where the highest concentration levels are found in the brain, liver, kidneys, and bone marrow, lecithin circulates in the blood keeping other fatty substances – including cholesterol - in suspension.
As many of the foods we eat have been refined, they have a low lecithin content. Many people – particularly on a low fat, low cholesterol diet – like to supplement the body’s own supply of lecithin.
LanesHealth offers two lecithin products Lecigran and Lecisun. Lecigran is available in 250g and 500g, whilst Lecisun is available in 425g. Both are available from all good health stores, and can be bought online.
